The nearest airport is in New Delhi. Rishikesh from Delhi is approximately 150 miles (230 km) by train, taxi or bus. Rishikesh is easy to reach since it is located just 15 miles (23 km) north of Haridwar, one of India’s most visited holy cities.

From Haridwar Train Station, we recommend hiring a taxi. Use a porter to carry your bags to the pre-paid taxi stand on the main road to the right of the train station gate and notify the driver that you’re traveling to Rishikesh. The price of the taxi is approximately US$8 (350 Rupees). We can also send a taxi to collect you from Haridwar if you contact us in advance.
 

Also from Haridwar Train Station, another option is to hire a private or public auto-rickshaw for half the price of a taxi, which will take you all the way to the Rishikesh. Approximate cost: US$4 (50-200 Rupees depending on public or private). 
 

 BY FLIGHT                                                                                                        

Kingfisher Airlines fly from Delhi to Dehradun twice daily at 10:20am & 2:50pm it is only a 45 minute flight and the price ranges from $75-100 depending on time and availability. Website Address for booking http://www.flykingfisher.com

 BY TAXI                                                                                                                

From Delhi, the taxi trip takes around 5-6 hours. Approximate cost: US$80 (3500 Rupees). We can also send a taxi to collect you at the airport or at your hotel in Delhi, if you contact us in advance.
 

Halfway there, you can ask the driver to stop at Cheetal Restaurant, where you will find clean toilets and excellent food in a garden-setting paradise.
 

 BY BUS                                                                                                                 

From Delhi, the cheapest way to reach us is by bus. Catch the bus directly to Rishikesh.
